CarLotz is growing fast and looking for an intern to assist on our Help Desk.  Interns will gain experience using Meraki’s systems manager Dynamics 365 and other next-gen support tools.  Since ticket volume is relatively low, interns will also have the opportunity to develop deeper skills and work on special projects.

CarLotz is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform financial accounting and analysis in our fast paced, rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities will include managing, recording and analyzing various financial accounts; preparing month-end journal entries supporting the financial closing; and developing policies and procedures and monitoring controls around key financial processes.

Essential duties:

Required Education and Skills:

  • CPA certification required.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting roles, including: policy and procedure creation, general ledger, monthly closing activity, financial reporting, internal controls, team leadership, and financial analysis and budgeting/forecasting.
  • QuickBooks experience and other financial systems knowledge
  • Experience working in start-up and/or high-growth organizations that have experienced rapid change is strongly preferred.
